ABOUT ME

My name is Brianne Ellison. I currently live in Utah, but I'm originally from Oregon. I have four children with my handsome adventurous Viking husband, in Park City, Utah. I have been a co-owner of several very successful companies that my husband founded (to see more details check out my resume). The success of these businesses has finally given me the time to pursue my own career goals. As vice president of our companies, I have a large variety of skills and experience that can help in just about any situation. As a business owner, I wore many hats, I did day-to-day operations, human resources, accounting, graphic design, marketing, and a lot more.

I have been an independent family history researcher for over 14 years now. My main focus was on my own family tree stemming from Ireland, Scotland, and Germany. My ability to navigate, research, and organize using the various online software programs, my own organizational innovations, and record discovery have allowed me to grow my direct ancestry tree to over 1200 individuals dating back to the 1600s.

My success with my own tree created the attention of other family and friends clients. I have started tree's from scratch, found birth parents, worked with genetic genealogy to solve problems, and helped many discover their roots.

I am a current volunteer on several projects including "Stories Behind the Stars" and the WikiTree Adoption Angels Program. I also volunteer to do indexing and answer genealogical questions on various websites and forums.

My current focus is on increasing my knowledge of genetic and forensic genealogy to help find family members and criminals, helping adoptees find their birth families, and helping my clients build their family trees and discover where they came from.
